IbTrojan
Honestly, "easy" courses for me and "easy" courses for you could be completely different. It's based on what you're good at, what you find interesting, what you'll tolerate and vice versa. For example, if I find biology easy, but you can't stand it, then clearly it won't be on your easier list of courses. But you may be a math whiz but I could be terrible at it. Maybe you're good at calculations then I'd suggest math, physics, chemistry. Maybe you love writing, then I'd suggest languages, history. Real life application, critical thinking, presentation...etc. it all depends on you. I know this is probably not what you wanted as an answer but I really believe that I wouldn't be able to give you a list of courses to best suit your requirements (easy courses) since I don't know your strengths and weaknesses. FChaosi_
Group 1: Language A: Literature HL - There is little difference between Language A: Lit SL and HL; you read a few more books and do one more World Lit paper. This is an easy way to get one of your three HL subjects.Group 2: Language AB Inito SL - Language AB Inito tends to be easier than Language B.Group 3: Economics HL - Again, not much of a difference between Economics SL and Economics HL. May as well take this at HL if you're taking it. History is hard at HL and Geography is kinda content heavy at HL. Now you have 2 HL's; only one other to choose.Group 4: Biology SL - Mostly memorization. Beware though, Biology HL has a lot more content than SL. OR Chemistry SL - Concepts are a little more difficult in Chemistry and you have to apply them but it's really not hard or that much work.Group 5: Math Studies SL - This subject is really easy. Universities tend to frown upon it however. I guess it depends what course you wanna do. OR Mathematics SL - This is a "tier" above Math Studies SL but it is considerably harder. You'll have to put more effort in to do well but virtually every uni will accept this. Group 6: idk soz I've heard that the Group 6 subjects are pretty easy but... I don't know.In my opinion, you should take what you want to do once you leave school into account before choosing your subjects. If you choose all the "easy" subjects, you could seriously limit your options. Also, you might wanna take a look at this statistics bulletin; it shows the grades that IB students received (for every subject) for the May 2014 examinations.Click me!Hope I've helped a little! Csaba Goeroeg
Group 1 > your native language as Language and Literature HL (german)Group 2 > your second best Language as B HL (english) Group 3 > Business and Management HLGroup 4 > Design Technology or Biology as SLGroup 5 > Math Studies SL Group 6 > Take a ab initio language like Spanish SL (its really easy) Your extended essay should be in Group 1 or 2. Analyze an aspect of a book (language and lit) or look at the modernization of language (B HL)You'll come across various other things like an IA in math. I have no clue what its like in Studies but if its like Math SL do something on probability or graph analysis (statistics)For your Group one and Group two talk right away to your teacher as a class on what books you gonna read and try to make them as less ****ty as possible. I have no clue what Business and Management is like; all I know is that its easy as hell. Don't fall into the trap of Geography or Psychology cause they are ****ty non relevant subjects that are a lot harder than you think and less useful than B&M. You can also do economics but B&M is easier. Design and Technology is just the same henry ford did in 1914 some basic BS and Biology SL is okay just a lot of memorizing. (I'd go with Bio) Group 6 don't fall into the trap of doing Art; Film Study or Drama cause those are really boring make no sense and you're forced to watch woody allen movies non stop. Just take a language, I don't know how many you speak currently but I'd go with Spanish ab initio. The contentof the syllabus is straight forward; if you do some sort of Spanish exchange over the summer you won't just be in a hot country drinking margarita and sangria next to topless girls/boys you´ll be actually learning the language and making it 10 times easier. Trust me on those and you'll get like 35 points and more for the least afford. Reply
behaaa
Doing an EE in one of the group 1-2 would definitely help Reply
