Ashley3076
So we are starting on our History IAs, and I need a little help on finding a concentration within the topic that I am choosing. I really want to use McCarthy/McCarthyism, but I have no idea in which aspect I want to concentrate on. You all know the dreadful "be specific" in IB. Any advice? Thanks! IbTrojan
Okay so you could either make a question directly talking about McCarthyism or make a question allowing you to include McCarthyism in your arguments. What exactly are you leaning towards to write about? Unless you already have a question.. Edited February 3, 2015 by IbTrojan Reply
bethiedrama101
If you purely wanted to focus on McCarthyism you could talk about the success of his witch hunts. If you wanted to go broader you could take about how McCarthyism influenced the fear communism in America. Reply
