It is considered more difficult than the normal math (hence 'further'). So if you're taking further math SL, its tougher than math SL, but Idk if its easier or more difficult compared to math HL. And if you're taking further math HL, then its more difficult than math HL, which is saying a lot because math HL is very difficult itself. Very few people manage to score high in this.
