Spooky Boogie
Hey all, I was considering changing my EE from history (about the 1936 Olympics) to math but I read that getting a good grade for math is extremely difficult. Is that actually true? I am currently taking BC Calculus (taking Math SL next year, it's the only course my school has) but would writing an extended essay in math be too challenging of an attempt? I tried researching beforehand and a few topics I was considering doing my research on and had interest in. Would any of these be feasible?:- Finding an optimal angle for a free throw shot in basketball- Game theory in connect 4- Rubik's cube and group theory Any tips or recommendations would be very appreciated. Thanks. Reply
Tom Hiddleston
Optimal angle seems more like what a physics extended essay would be. And it would be better developed and further expanded for physics rather than mathematics. Reply
GissellaGamboa
To start of, it really depends on what you like more, in what subject you can find reliable sources and choosing the right topic that fits for you. I'm taking physics and optimal angles are more of a physics EE because of the theory behind them. I would advise if considering the change to math to talk to your maths teacher before making the actual change. Reply
