maturk
Hello survivors! I'm a little bit freaked out because all of the people in my class already have EE topics and have begun to write them and I do not. It is not that I haven't tried, I really have, but I've had such difficulties with finding a suitable physics topic to do an EE in. I'm even considering switching to an English EE now because I have no leads. In yall's opinion (or even your school's) when should I really really have a suitable topic? behaaa
Well I don't know how it is in your school, but we were required to have one by December. I suggest that you get a topic and a question down as soon as possible, and try and start working on your EE. The earlier you do it the better, because you won't have to worry about it next year if you finish it this year. 1 Reply
Raptor123a
The sooner the better. It's best to get done with the extended essay as soon as possible (having a draft by the end of the first year is a good idea) so having a topic picked by November, or December at the latest helps. BTW: EEs in English are usually easier to handle than EEs in physics... so if you have doubts, I'd advise you to go with English. 1 Reply
Flow4421
I'm in the same situation, except that nobody in my class has EE topics yet. It seems like the teachers or the IB coordinator forgot to introduce us with the EE.. I thought they would come to us and start talking about how we need to choose a topic, a question, when to start it, and the deadlines... I really need to go and see my headmaster....
