King112 Posted February 27, 2015 Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) Hey,Well I can't really comment on Biology, Chemistry HL and French Sl. However, I take Lang/Lit HL. I can tell you that it is quite hard. You need a thorough understanding of various things such as Literary devices etc. Also, you need to be able to assess the mood, tone feel of the book, scene, poem whatever.Physics SL is quite easy to be honest. I really didn't and haven't killed my self over it, and am averaging a 5. However, science is not down my alley, so take that into account. Physics should really be taken if you really like it/need it for Uni. But since its your SL, it should be OK. The key question here is are you decent at math? Math is quite a big part of physics, and you need to know your math. Which leads me to Math SL. Math SL is again easy. However, since math is again not my best subject, I have to work a reasonable amount at it. It helps my physics because the math is essentially the same. Math lets you really expand, and if you have a good teacher, like mine, its quite fun. The concepts are quite easy, and your calculator helps you a LOT!So overall, thats about the subjects you are considering. I'm sorry that I can't be more helpful about Chemistry etc, but I really have no idea about them.Let me know if you have any more questions.Best of luck entering IB King112PS: You can talk to your guidance counsellor. Additionally, you can talk to a senior (someone doing/finished IB) for his/her opinion. Your parents can and should play a big role, because they often have great insight about you, that you don't. Now I'm gonna take IB so imquite confused which subject should I choose from sciences group. I don't like any science subject and that's the biggest problem.but I wanna do well at the end so what I need to know is which sciences is easiest in terms of getting a 7.
