lm9
Hello, Im a self taught candidate and I have to write my essay on Romeo and Juliet. I'm not sure what to write about and some tips would be appreciated. PromptsWhat is the impact on the work of a major choice and/or decision made by characters? In what ways are the voices of history and tradition present in the work? Which minor character plays the most significant role? To what extent is the natural landscape important to the impact of this work? Do you think there are some characters in the work whose chief role is to convey cultural values? How does the author convey the sense of time passing in the work? In what ways is the work interested in being realistic? Identify one or more symbol, motif or strand of imagery. What role do they play in the work? I would really appreciate if you could give me some tips. Thank You! 1 Reply
Maha
I am self taught candidate as well. I would have chosen one of these two if I read Romeo and Juliet . What is the impact on the work of a major choice and/or decision made by characters? Which minor character plays the most significant role?Since I wrote my WA, I think the best tips is to read the criteria and make sure that you include every thing you have to include and that the your WA is focused. 1 Reply
IbTrojan
I agree with Maha. Questions 1 and 2 seem like ideal prompts for Romeo and Juliet. Maybe you could also look at 8 if you're looking for more options. I think that one would work well for the play too Reply
