What should I do for my job

I have a question that you guys might be able to help me with. I know that I want to go to school and be a teacher but I can't figure out if I want to be a High school or Elementry school teacher. I have pros and cons for each but nobody in my family wants me to be a teacher because they think it's stupid. I'm just looking for other people's opinions on the matter, and what you might do.

If it were me - I'd study a particular subject (like Chemistry, or Business, etc.) and teach High School because they're more mature

Oh, and if I teach elementary, I'd be afraid if I step on one of the kids or hurt them accidentally

In the end, it's completely up to you. What kind of content do you prefer teaching? Are you good with children? I also think you should be a teacher despite what your family thinks because you're doing this for yourself and not for them.

Well, it all depends on your personality, preference and how much stress you can allow yourself. Being an elementary school teacher doesn't require as much work when it comes to tests, essays and homework compared to high school. The problems in elementary school are often much less serious compared to those in high school. High school students may have problems with depression, self harm, suicidal idealations and home abuse - those things are much less common in elementary school.

If I were a teacher I would teach in high school - this way you can help much more those with problems, and also not loose your nerves because a child is crying and he won't tell you why. I also don't really like small children, so my opinion can be biased. In the end it's going to be your life and your future, so choose wisely.
