Hehey! thanks for your help :)

I am calculating the number of moles of ascorbic acid.

mass = 0.250 +- 0.001

Mr = 176.12

n = mass/Mr = 0.00142 rounded up to 0.001 (to have the same amount of decimal places) (& +- 0.001, because it is dividing by a fixed value with no error).

So the percentage uncertainty is 100% ????? hahaha hope not if so I am incredibly screwed

I think the percentage uncertainty is the percentage uncertainty in the mass and the Mr, since you do not have uncertainty in the Mr it will be only the mass.

The percentage uncertainty then will be (0.001/0.250)*100% = 0.4%.
