Hey guys, just wanted to give my presentation idea and see if yall think it is a good one. My real life situation is your brain on video games and the KQ is to what extent to we base our beliefs on things that are not scientifically proven. Im a little hesistant because im not completely sure if this is a strong KQ or even if it is one. If you all could give your opinions or any tips that would be great. Thanks you!

I think your topic has a lot of potential, but you need to focus your efforts on making very clear connections with your KQ and RLS. Consider changing your RLS if you have to.

A lot of times, we are faced with making decisions in which we need to do something no matter what. When the line isn't clear about what the obvious course of action is, our mind goes off of a certain thought process into deducing what might be the best idea. You could talk about the human sciences a lot this way, and maybe some major controversial political or economic decisions and their implications. On the other hand, some you could talk about human instinct. The way I see this relating to your RLS are RTS video games, such as CounterStrike, Starcraft and League of Legends, where you are required to make decisions on the fly. Most of the time you can't use science facts to deduce what you need to do is right, because of the situation you are in, as there could be an infinite number different scenarios to which you need to react.

It is obvious that your RQ extends beyond the scope of video games, and I feel you need to stress that. Think about everything that is not scientifically proven, but elicits a response based on current knowledge. I would think about the basis of how one arrives to that kind of knowledge and to what extent that knowledge is used.

Hope this helps :)
