Please suggest if this is a good article for my commentary.

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/apr/02/carbon-floor-price-hike-will-trigger-uk-coal-slowdown-say-analysts

Also is it possible that we choose an article that tis related to both macro and micro economics but is analysed from the micro point of view for commentary 1.

any help is appreciated

If you ask me, it seems a bit too long. I'm not sure about the Micro Macro thing. But i can tell you that this article is way to long. The content is pretty good, but the length is a problem.

Sorry.

Look out for a shorter one. That would be my advice.

Hi,

I think the article is a great one to analyse. Make sure you do two things:

  1. Fit it into to pages when attaching it to the commentary (as external moderators are not required to read beyond 2 pages).
  2. Highlight the parts that you're really focusing on.

So I would not choose another one just because of the length and I would also analyse it from the micro perspective (there are not many macro connections anyway). So the answer to your question is a big YES :)
