IB .
As we are nearing the chem exam, I have a question. In paper 1, are we provided with the relevant equations on page 1 of the data booklet? Also, I'm 90% sure that the 2nd equation on the left column has a mistake, it should be + between the two terms on the right hand side of the equation. This is the Arrenius equation in the form y=mx +b. Thanks! Edited May 13, 2015 by IB . Reply
IbTrojan
We are provided with a data booklet. And there are relevant equations given, however there are very few given (as I have seen in past year data booklets) so I would suggest you remember all of them. Msj Chem
Paper 1 - no data booklet or calculator allowed (but you are given a copy of the periodic table). Paper 2 and 3 - data booklet and calculator allowedAnd yes that is a mistake in the the data booklet. You should be given the updated one in the exam which has the mistake corrected.
