What should I read for the summer? I don't know what to choose. My options are

the adventurss of huckleberry finn by mark twain

their eyes are watching god by zora Neale hurston

the absolutely true dairy of a part-time Indian by Sherman alexi

the things they carried by Tim O'Brien

the house of sprits by Isabel allende

What are the books about and what one would you recommend?

I have read "The absolute true diary of a part time Indian," the novel is funny and the character is intriguing. I don't know if you have read "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" when you were younger, but I did, and this book is kind of similar. If you have to read it for English, then it's a suitable book because there is a lot to analyze. Also it's short so you don't need to worry about remembering too much like 1984.

Huckleberry Finn is about Huckleberry from Tom Sawyer. In my opinion, its a meh book.

THings they Carried is about the Vietnam war. I personally loved it, and thinks it's a  good read, if a little confusing.

Don't know about the others.
