AdamRA
I just have a few questions regarding IB expectations with regards to lab reports. What sourcing style does the IB prefer / require for lab reports? (Ex: Harvard, AP). If non, which is the most popular within the scientific community? Is there a word limit or page limit for the lab report? If so, is the appendix included within the word/page limit? If there exists a word limit, are footnotes included? What would be appropriate to place within the appendix of the lab report? Would pictures be appropriate? Is it required / recommended to take pictures? If so, should you be in the pictures? Additionally, where would be the most appropriate area to place these pictures within the lab report? What shouldn't be included in the appendix? ellie
I can help you with a few: You can use whichever citing style you prefer as long as you are consistent. This link may help you in choosing one. The length should be 6-12 pages, including extras. There is no word limit per se. This is unconfirmed, but I'd say pictures are at the very least acceptable, you just have to be sure that they are relevant and not taking up too much space.
