ayeeronnayy
Hey guys, I was wondering how long the EE introduction should actually be? Reply
Emmi
As long as you need it to be. It shouldn't be pushing 700 words or so, because you need that for your main argument. Reply
Bailee Marie
I'm not quite to 200 words. I have 162 words in my introduction. Is that okay, or should I try to extend it a little? Reply

The word count for your introduction doesn't matter. Don't get hung up on "I have only X amount of words, is this okay???" If you feel like you've introduced your topic enough, then it's sufficient. Don't keep adding fluff - save it for the rest of your paper. Reply
kevG
introduction looks for three main things in grading rubric your research question (but dont simply state it, have sort of like little explanation leading to the question)context of topic/problem (overview on what your topic is about)why its relevant (give a brief explanation on why your ee topic is relevant and why you should write about it)if you have these three things you'll get a guaranteed 2/2 for intro i personally split these into three paragraphs, about 100 words each, so total around 300 words Reply
