English Literature IOP on Toni Morrison's Beloved

Recommended Posts

I aim to make this brief. (My teacher has already marked my draft but I haven't found his comments useful.)

So I have my IOP coming up soon and I want to make sure I'm on the right track .

My topic goes as follows:

"Through Sethe, Morrison explores the problematic nature of identity; how perceptions of self and others’ perception of an individual can shape one’s attitude and behavior."

Paragraph topics:

- Exploring what is Problematic about identity

- Exploring How perceptions of self, differ from other’s perceptions

- Exploring how outside influences changes one's identity and to an extent a perception of the world.

(which leads to)

- Exploring how it can shape one's attitudes and behaviors.

I know I shouldn't be asking this on a forum, but plz.
