Debanjanjan
Hey guys! Just a question: I'm all done with my EE and just about to hand in the final copy, but I'm still debating whether or not to forgo an acknowledgements page for my EE. I'm doing mine on English, and my supervisor said that if I wished, I could go ahead and write one. But some of my peers didn't include acknowledgements in theirs because they thought it was a little too 'juvenile'. And the other English EE students didn't even include one.I'd just like all your thoughts on this to help me make a decision coz I don't want my EE to come off as childish lol, cheers~ Reply
ebu
I don't think it would be childish at all, most published books written by actual authors/researchers include acknowledgment page. Its just up to you. Hope this helped! 2 Reply
Debanjanjan
That's exactly what I thought, but at the end, I chose to leave it out. My supervisor also said that sometimes the examiners feel that when students add in an Acknowledgement to their EEs, it can come off as sucking up to the markers. I don't know how true this is, but better to be safe than sorry, haha. Thanks for the comment! Reply
