And only hardest part in doing math IA is the "starting" once you start it'll be done in no time. so just choose a good topic of your interest and take review from your math coordinator and START. Incorporate some historical context within your introduction and conclusion about the topic. Inside the actual body, make conjectures, ask yourself TOK questions - you need to show your own personal input (well, at least we had to do this for HL but I'd assume it's the same for SL). What I did was I researched and researched my topic until I felt comfortable with the whole idea about it.
