Need help with Math EE research question

So I've decided to write my EE on Archimedes' Cattle problem but I'm not sure how to formulate my research question. And my supervisor does not seem to be able to help me.

I mean, I am basically just solving a problem.. but I do not think that calling it just 'how to solve a cattle problem?' is a good idea.

I would appreciate any help

It is allowed to do some research first then come back and reformulate the research question.
For now just narrow down to one aspect. Do you want to focus on the general solution of 7 equations? Just the Pell equation? While examiners don't expect groundbreaking discoveries in a math EE, you have to have something that makes your paper different from the many papers on this topic. It would could just be something interesting or subtle in the procedure or the solution itself. Once you find that something, then you know exactly what to put on the RQ.
