Hi!

I just started my IB program and I am wondering about the CAS. Mostly about Creativity section. I am looking for ideas. I play flute and piano, but I don't have any lessons, I just study myself. What do you do? I am looking for something nice, pleasure, and what will not take too much time. Thx <3

The thing about CAS is that for every activity you do, you need to show that you have learnt something new and/or how it helped you grow as a person. So I would suggest taking official flute lessons, as it is considered learning something new. You could talk about the differences in self-taught and actual lessons in your reflection.

Also, Creativity in CAS does not necessarily cover only artistic activities. It also includes solving problems in creative ways in a tough situation. You could do a survival camp activity of some kind; it gives a healthy mix of creativity and action hours.

Hope this helps.
