Topic I chosen is "Did Domestic Influence have more affect on the Collapse of the Soviet Union than International Influence?". First of all I donnou how to make it sound better or form properly.And second, I am not sure that I am investigating right things. Here is the list. Should I focus on something else, add something? Domestic influence:Economical: Stagnating Economy and oil crises , decrease in the living standard of the citizens, lack of economic incentives and new ideasPolitical : Decentralization, new policies, collapse of ideas and views in the party .GeographicalNationalistic movements and Ethnic FragmentationGlasnostExcessive Military FocusEthnic conflicts International Influence: Afghanistan conflictCold warForeign corporations, who needed bigger marketFall of the USSR was within the interest of Europe ANY COMMENTS ARE HELPFUL! THANK YOU! Yeah you should focus on something specific. I did something similar with my HI; I compared external and internal factors for collapse of the Tokugawa Shogunate. I figured it was too broad so I focused on one specific external factor and one specific internal factor. If you focus on one factor for each, you are more able to treat the topic effectively within the word limit.
