IB_taking_over
My EE topic is human rights, with a question about the violations of capital punishment in the U.S. Because of the nature of my EE, I used sources written by inmates. In my abstract, do I need to address that most of them have no formal education? But the accounts are still valid because they live there (and they fact check with every other source). Thanks in advance! Reply
avalinelegato
(I hope I'm not misinterpreting what you're trying to say, please forgive me if I am) I'm assuming that your intentions to address the fact that they have no formal education is due to a concern that the sources won't be valid? Since you have already clarified that the accounts are still valid, I don't think it's necessary to include it in your abstract- maybe your conclusion. You can, however, talk about your methodology in your abstract, for instance about how you used sources written by inmates. I'm terribly sorry if I've assumed your intentions wrongly- do get back to me and I'll try my best to help! 1 Reply
