Basically, in this study 20 participants were made to read out a story and they were each assigned a schema of either a house buyer (10) or a burglar (10). After reading the story, they had to recall the information about the house in the story from their assigned schema. After a small distraction task, the schemas of the participants were switched. 10 participants remained with their previous schema while the rest 10 were given the opposite schema. Their recalls were tested again. I used an independent measures sample and the recall questionnaires were scored out of 20 points.
