NiCKEL
*I know we need hand drawn maps*I'm looking for a software that allows me to draw (touchscreen computer with pen) a map or map-like diagrams with lots of colour and if possible, "fading" colour (i.e. similar to a temperature map where it's not distinctly yellow here then a border, then red there) http://www.briteresearch.com/images/project_images/us_temp_map.png I'm doing a statistical analysis approach to looking at various factors on local vegetation type (almost like bio) and I need a software where I can draw our site (say a rectangle) and make a map similar to: http://mapasdemexico.org/images/elevr.jpg (ignore the fact that it's elevation) to colour code pH variation within the area, etc. I would use hand drawing but I don't like how the quality gets worse when i scan it, and things like OneNote and software not made for drawing details create a very messy diagram. kevG
Do you need a hand-drawn map for your hypothesis? Technically, you don't even need one if it doesn't fall under your hypothesis. A lot of people forgot that. Source: got 29/30 on my IA with no map of my site Reply
