My current topic is an analysis of the 'dark room'. How it's significant to Mama Elena (possibly Tita as well but I feel its best to focus on one character) and its thematic implications (tradition and rules).To be honest I feel safe with the topic but I feel as though I am over-analyzing some, if not all of the quotes and content regarding the 'dark room'. However, my other topic I'm thinking of is a comparative analysis of the kitchen and the 'dark room' and connections to Tita. Not too sure on either one and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
