sberkmetin
Hello all, I have a question regarding the the extended essay on English. Considering I am going to write about cinema, but NOT literature: Is it possible, for example, to write about the French New Wave? Would it be just okay as long as it is on movies--which is permitted? Or should one ONLY write about things that are Anglophone? English literature, movie, et cetera? I wrote about 500 words so far, so it is not too late for me to change the topic if I have to, though I feel that I have a good grasp of the subject matter. Looking forward for your answers. Thank you! Reply
terribletouw
I haven't written my EE so I'm no expert, but in the guide there's an option to do your EE in film. Perhaps your topic would be better suited there? Reply
Gaby
OK.. So you're writing an English EE on French movies? How does that fit the EE guide/make sense? Is your supervisor ok with this topic? I'm not really an expert on English EEs (is it English A or B, btw?), but this just doesn't sound quite right to me. How does it relate to English other than being written in English? Reply
Blackcurrant
Exactly. The way you describe things, it's hard to see any EE anywhere in there. Edited December 11, 2015 by Blackcurrant Reply
