Sandy
Hey guys! I've taken economics hl and I'm confused about the IA. My teacher said there has to be more than 1 diagram (graph) in the commentary, but I don't see anything like that in the guide; is that true? Or its fine if I have only one diagram? I'm also looking for some sample economics IAs that are graded (like there are for sciences on ibpublishing), so if anyone knows any source, please share. Thanks in advance! ibstudent77
1 graph should be perfectly fine, given that you explain the graph properly. The word limit is very strict, so our teacher encourages us not to have more than 1 graph. Quality over quantity. Reply
King112
Well, 1 graph should be fine, i normally have 2 and sonetimes 3 graphs. That gives enough detail, plus writing on the graph doesnt add to your wordcount unless its more than 5 words. So you can use 1and do well, but add more graohs if you think it is necessary.Cheers,King112 Reply
thoughtlessaxiom
Examiners have said that the most marks go to IA's with 2 diagrams exactly I did a practice and got a 13 and hopefully I'll be able to improve my mark on diagrams with this :'( haha Reply
