turtle turtle
So for this year's, language B students have to basically talk about a photo for 3-4 minutes then discuss the photo with the examiner for 5-6 minutes according to a post I read. Is there any format to set up this discussion? E.g.: Firstly: Describe what you see in the photoNext: Talk about the meaningLast: Talk about the significance How are you meant to approach this oral and what kinds of aspects should you cover and how should you structure this? Thanks so much for reading this!! any comment helps Reply

In Arabic B (I think that all Language B's follow the same format), we've been told to follow a structure similar to yours and King112's combined. So, we were told to go about like this:Introduce yourself: Candidate Number and Name Indicate the part of the course the picture refers to Describe the photo Relate what you see in the photo to the part of the course you referred to Talk about the significance by listing explicit and broader details about the course you've been taughtWhat my teacher's suggested is that we go through #1 - 4 in the first 4 minutes and #5 for the next 6 minutes or so. My Arabic teacher said that it doesn't look good when the examiner has to ask you questions because you couldn't fill up the 10 minutes. This is what I was taught in my Language B course. I think they're all the same but you should check with your teacher to be sure. Good luck! Xx 1 Reply
