It'll get marked by an external examiner to check if your teacher's marking was in line with the IBO standard, then they will adjust the whole class' marks according to how the sample was graded. Most of my IAs were sent for moderation, somehow - History, Psychology and Chemistry for sure, but I think Maths as well. Didn't really affect my life. Sandwich Posted March 16, 2016 Report Share Posted March 16, 2016 Ultimately if yours gets really harshly marked down, they will also mark down the whole of the rest of your class so it's no big deal if yours goes off or if somebody else's does.
