YourPrincess
I want to study law after I finish the IB in Sydney, and I've called several universities and they said that you need to receive a score of at least 40+ to get into the uni. However, a friend of mine got into UTS after achieving a score of 31. How is this possible??

new_kpk
Foreign students are cash cows for Australian universities. Many second level universities like UTS bend rules to get foreign students in. I know a guy who told me that for some classes he did not get a chair to sit if you do not go early ( UTS have enrolled more students than their lecture room accommodate). Another student told me that classes are very over-crowded.
