nightshae007
Was wondering how you get predicted grades for tok, ee, and cars before the UCAS applications. Do the teachers give you a predicted grade based on your assignments in TOK and the progress on your ee? Reply
So Young
Personally, for my school they always give us 2 points as predicted.. It really depends on your school, for example, my EE first draft is due in 2 days, and I've already done a presentation and many sample essays in TOK, so they can evaluate me based on that. IBTopper
Hi @nightshae007 As @So Young pointed out, it really depends on your school and if you have shown sufficient work in the relevant area. Assuming that you would have completed most of your CAS Activities (because now we have to work on IAs, Uni Apps, EE and stuff), the school can definitely say 'pass' in the CAS section on UCAS (if you have submitted them your CAS Portfolio). Similarly, if you show your school your RQ and synopsis for the EE and the Presentation Planner Document for the TOK, they might be able to predict your grades. However, this depends entirely on your school and I recommend contacting your DP Coordinator Hope this helps Reply
