So Young
Hiya, which revision guide do you guys think is the best out of these two: Tsoko's revision guide, Cambridge Tim Kirk, Oxford I can't decide on which one to get.. I have the Pearson's textbook and it's not good at all, so I want to rely on the revision guide now.. najem
From what I've heard from past IBers, and from my experience with the Tsokos textbook, the Oxford guide is really good at explaining the concepts, whereas Tsokos is kind of confusing at times. However, Tsokos apparently has the best questions out of all the textbooks. Not sure if the questions are as good in the revision guide, but I would assume that they are. Disclaimer: I haven't used either of these, but I did use Tsokos' textbook over the summer to prepare. I'm only a first year. So Young
Yeah, I saw a combination of both being suggested. However, many lean towards the Tsoko's revision guide as far as I have seen >_< Reply
najem
Tsokos questions are really close to actual IB questions, and the new edition mirrors the updated syllabus perfectly. I don't really like the paragraphs and paragraphs of explanation, though. A combination of the two would be ideal. Good luck with your studying!
