Guest chocopiecheeks
Hello! A few of my IA topics have been rejected, so I've become more anxious about having a topic and approaching my teacher about it. However, on some website I found the idea of graphing an image/symbol onto a cartesian plane with functions, and this has greatly interested me as I deal with photoshop often. I was wondering if this was enough as an SL topic? For example, if I'd find functions to graph the IB logo, or several different logos. Thank you for your time! kw0573
It should be enough as it is also a popular HL Topic. Reply
IB Math Helper
This topic generally does well in the mathematical knowledge criterion but like most explorations does not fare well in the personal engagement criterion (generally earns about 2 out of 4) or the reflection criterion (generally scores 1 out of 3). Think about what you are exploring. Perhaps make some extensions to the choices of different functions in different logos/flags/symbols etc. Reply
