I have calculated the volume of plastic in each of them, but I don't know what to do next. (volume of plastic = total volume - total water filled in bottle) My question is how do I go forward now, how do I include more maths, more concepts and ideas? SC2Player Posted December 1, 2016 Report Share Posted December 1, 2016 Maybe you could attempt to generalize your results to other situations, or attempt to make it more abstract. For example, you could investigate the rate of flow of water from a tank (take a look at Torricelli's law, or fluid dynamics in general). Just remember to focus on the math, though.
