So. I'm in grade 10 and this is my first and only year of pre-Ib. my class this year was awful, and its looking like I may fail french unless i get like a 95 on the exam, which I probably won't. I want to know if i can be barred from entering full IIB because of this, because I know the circumstances will be different and i will pass next year.

So am i completely screwed? thanks.

Pre-IB is a thing within the individual schools. It is up to the school if you can continue into IB next year.

For example, at my high school, you have to have at least a B (80% or better) in order to get into IB classes junior year. If you had less than a B, you generally had to get teacher approval.

Depends on the school. At my school, you need at least 70% in every course (one can be in the 60's). You should go and ask your guidance counselor.

good luck, bonne chance !
