They fluctuate from year to year but 83-85% seems a safe range to aim for.

Hmmm... this is what my chem teacher tells us as well, but it somehow sounds fishy to me.
In every other HL subjects, the grade boundaries are above 80% to get a 7, but she tells us that we have to have over 90%, even though our Chemistry course is SL.
But then, it is her first time teaching IB, so I can't tell either.

For predicted grades currently, we are using the grade boundary of 90-100% = 7. However, this is because as we have not yet learned the whole syllabus, tests are easier than the final exam simply because they cover less information.

For the final exam, check the grade boundaries I posted in my last post. You guys really need to read closely.
