Hi, if I send some of my notes to IB survival, do I gain instant VIP status? And I am still not sure how I can give out my notes...

It would depend on the quality/quantity of your notes and also the number of posts you currently have and their quality. It's all very relative, actually.

Posts: anywhere from 1 to 100. There is no set minimum.
You can post notes in the 'Contribute' forum.

I don't understand what kind of notes I have to upload, to contribute. Can you explain it?

Thanks!

It doesnt really have to be notes to show that you're contributing. Some people got the VIP just from posting good and helpful posts.
As for the notes, its basically making notes of a certain topic like Differentation in math and uploading it so that whoever needs help calculus can downlaod it. For example:

Differentation is the ...............
When differentating do......
etc
etc.
ya know?

You don't necessarily have to post notes. Just be around, and help people out. At 100 posts (with no spam) you got VIP automatically, but the admin can grant you that beforehand, if they see that you are contributing to the forum in a meaningful way. Don't be posting for the sake of getting posts. If you post casually and in meaningful ways, you'll be a VIP in no time.

You can also contribute things like EE's and TOK essays, or any kind of IAs's (only if you have already graduated from IB, otherwise they can be plagiarized by others). Or if you obtain your friends' permission to post their old IA'S (again, only if they have already graduated from the IB), you can contribute them.
