Eyas
The 2009 syllabus states that the formulas used in assessing the business's external environment will be provided for students in the examination. These include ratio analysis and investment appraisal formulae. I haven't ever seen such formulas mentioned in the exam paper itself nor have I seen a business exam booklet. How will such formulae be provided for students? Reply
Abu
It's part of the new syllabus, wasn't there in the 08 exams. However my teacher once said that he would have to copy the formula sheet and hand it out. I don't think that that can happen, but think that you will get a formula sheet. The formulas aren't hard to learn, we had to learn it for our exams. Reply
Vvi
If there is a formula sheet, it will be like the Maths ones. Ask you teacher to get hold of them ASAP, so you can see what's on there and what you need to learn separately. Reply
rrswong
Yup, it is a formula sheet - I've seen it and used it for mocks. There are no formulas on there for break even, unit contribution, all the topic 5 operations management stuff though. Reply
