chrypton
Hello everyone. So I am basically done with my extended essay in maths(on the rubik's cube) and I am finalizing it right now. One thing I've noticed is that I'm on around 4200 words right now(excluding what is suppose to be excluded). Now I remember reading in the Maths EE guide that words are rarely an issue in maths, but I think they meant that you would have a perfectly fine essay with 2000 words. I'm working to cut down my word count, but going below 4000 would be challenging.I'm hoping someone who knows about this can give some input. Sandwich
For all Extended Essays, regardless of subject, you're going to be penalised for going over 4,000 words. You can definitely cut out 200 or so just with editing and rephrasing, though. Once you start pruning the words really start to stack up (in my experience!). Same content, just more concisely (and usually well) written Reply
