But there is a trend for the mark boundaries, right?

Physics is always 65-70%, Chemistry 70-80%...

the mark boundaries do change but usually not much. for example if this year it's 80%-100%, next year it wouldn't change to 60%-100%, unless a new and very different syllabus is introduced.

so yeah... it usually changes a bit, but not really much. that's why people often refer to old mark boundaries to judge their mocks or IAs.

The IB coordinators should have them in a couple of weeks with the component marks for each student.

Does anyone have the HL Mandarin B grade boundaries? Any year is fine, I just need to get a rough idea of the cut-off points. Thanks :)

Does anyone know the minimum score to get a 7 in IB English HL A1?

Over the past few years its ranged from 78 to 80. I got a 77. :( But I'm really curious to see how much off I was.

Here are TZ2 component grades for many subjects. Calculate the overall boundary using the weight factors of the component boundaries.

Thanks master135!

I was wondering if anyone received this year's grade boundaries from their IBC or from any other source. I have recieved my component marks but my IBC is away right now so I cannot ask mark boundaries from them.

I need the May 2011 TZ1 Overall boundaries for each subject(not the component boundaries)

If you have it I would appreciate it if you would share! If you need more information like the subjects I need the overall boundaries for let me know.

You can calculate the overall boundaries by applying the weight factors to the component boundaries.

For example-
paper 1: 30 to 40 is a 7 and paper 1 is worth 25%
paper 2: 60 to 70 is a 7 and paper 2 is worth 75%

Then the overall boundary for a 7 is: 25*(30/40) + 75*(60/70) = 83

Thanks, do you happen to have the component boundaries for TZ1?

I just re-checked with the 2009, 2010 and 2011 boundaries, an A is 19-20. I didn't edit the picture.
