KyleAdams
There are many analyses online that you can find simply by searching google. They are very detailed and will inform you of all you would ever like to know about Dido & Aeneas. Reply
EMT
Dido and Aeneas is actually surprisingly easy to study- find a summary online for the plot (although this is pretty irrelevant in terms of the actual exam). The best approach to take is find a list of Baroque characteristics and fit them to the score (ie. find examples of each and compile a list). Make sure its a comprehensive list. Then pick a few characteristics that are unique to Purcell (ie. word painting) and make notes on them.Hope that helps! Reply
