Work hard party harder
Hello,I was looking for the IB Biology (I've taken it at HL) Syllabus on the internet. I found 'Biology first examinations 2009'. I am writing my IB exams in 2011 so shouldn't I refer to 'Biology first examinations 2011' if there is any such thing? What does 'first examinations' mean? Please help!Thank you!Work hard party harder. Reply
Peachez
"First examination" means that if it says "Biology first examinations 2009" then starting from 2008 the students should follow the syllabus in their curriculum. The syllabus is not changed every year and since it was changed for the 2009 examination, I don't think you should worry about the syllabus changing again for your examination session. 1 Reply

Dzeb
Yes. Syllabi are reviewed every 4 or 5 years so you should follow year 2009 =] Reply
