IRC stands for "Internet Relay Chat". It was originally written by Jarkko Oikarinen in 1988. Since starting in Finland, it has been used in over 60 countries around the world. IRC is a multi-user chat system, where people meet on "channels" (rooms, virtual places, usually with a certain topic of conversation) to talk in groups, or privately. There is no restriction to the number of people that can participate in a given discussion, or the number of channels that can be formed on IRC.

Hey Graeme, is it just me or is the ability to view who has downloaded a file gone?

That's gone, sorry. Was using quite a bit of database space and wasn't that useful.

I'm having the same problem as I earlier did with spoilers - won't show up. Running Firefox 3 Beta 2 now. Anyone else?

They seem to work fine for the moment, but since you are saying there is a problem, and there has been in the past, I will try to find a way to change how they work, so I can fix the problem permanently :) .

Ah just noticed this. Not very earth shattering but sigs are now visible in every post instead of just your first post on a page.
Oh and spoilers still don't work (for me). Not just in sigs but in posts as well

Right, I'm fed up of this spoiler thing, so I'm going to try to fix it now.

And I know about signature thing so should fix that within the hour :) .

Sigs only appear once in a page. So if you post twice in the same page, it only appears after the first post, but not in subsequent post. It's to save space and so that it doesn't annoy people. :D

Oh and Deus, spoilers still aren't working :|

I think I found the problem in the code, they SHOULD be fine now but I've got my fingers crossed. Remember to clear cache.

Glad to hear it. It was my fault. Missing two lines of code in the javascript because of the upgrade. I hadn't realised, but it's solved now. I hope most bugs have been squashed.

Sorry to squash your thoughts, spoilers don't work again. Or it might just be my browser, Safari?

EDIT: Found out that spoilers don't work in the signature.

Spoiler - Click me!
They work in posts

Aboo, I fixed your signature. You have to have a space between the spoiler tags and the next square bracketed codes. Tell me if it still doesn't work for you.

Well, this isn't really a solution, but swith to Firefox, it's a lot better, secure and faster. Sites work better with it.
