I don't even know what awards IBS has at the moment but these sound pretty cool.

but none of them have been given out and i can't make them since only admins can so it kind of died but it was cool

here is the Awards Listing in case if people don't know.

I think the Geography award is kind of useless... not a lot of people are taking geography and not a lot of discussions are taking place.

also I think we need a CAS award and an EE award.

and maybe something else that is more "for fun" like the Gamer Guru/Joker/Befriender that Austin suggested above, or something... and also a Debater award.

I disagree with your comment on the geography award, just because the award has not been achieved by a member or that the forum has not reached the potential to support such an award it does not mean that the award should not exist; members should be awarded for there expertise in their respective subjects. In fact, if 'CAS' or 'EE' awards were introduced I would be labeling those as "useless" awards as I see them as an award for the 'regurgitation of IBO guidelines'; it does not take much skill or creativity to transform the IB guidelines into simpler terms to answer 'Is this a good CAS activity?' or 'Is my research question too broad?'. The 'IB know-it-all' award seems to include those contributions quite well.

But I certainly do feel that the 'debater' award should be introduced as there are a few members who are constantly active in the debate and discussion forum who are deserving of such an award. I have no comment on the 'gamer' award.

I'll add both . Just need to find the right images for them. Debater award coming up! Also, regarding the Geo award comment, I think it's good to have many awards not just to congratulate people but also to encourage them! I'll try to make awards more "prominent" in the next version of IPB.

heeeey I didn't say that the Geography award should be removed was just pointing out that nobody has earned it and not many geography students are on. but okay, if it could encourage people to earn them. true, I have to agree.
