Oooh, I agree, Yiruma is wonderful! River flows in you is one of my favorites too. I even tried to learn it on the piano once, and failed miserably... :3

Might be a bit disturbing, probably NSFW (or school, I guess), but hey, they're the ones who decided what would be their music vid. Plus, it's well-made (would love to know their location.)

You should listen to Sigur Ros.
They create beautiful, relaxing pieces of music that slowly build up. The are an icelandic band, so you wont understand anything they say. Almost all their song are slow and quiet, but at the same time really beautiful.
Hope you like it?

Thanks for all the replies nerds
I'm giving credit to instrumentals/classics for about 25% of my exam scores last year

I played a part of this for my violin exam a few years ago. It remains my favourite song and Bartok is still my favourite composer.
Edit: The ending is the best!

I love Vivaldi's spring (I'm trying to teach myself to play it via clarinet but am failing miserably
), Concerning Hobbits is simply beautiful, Enya - Anywhere is and Engima - TNT for the brain are also awesome, although they're not really instrumentals

I like Erik Satie, especially his Gymnopedies and Gnossiennes. And Yann Tiersen.
Then there's the stuff that might be too intense for studying sessions but I just can't resist, like the third movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata or Sibelius's violin concerto or the soundtrack for How to Train Your Dragon. I also quite enjoy the soundtrack for Baccano...
