I can't believe my IB exams were over a year ago...and my gap year is almost over!

About Me
My name is Philippa, and I finished the IB in May 2009.
Well, you never truly finish with the IB, do you. Soon after my exams I was lying on a friend's hammock, which was swaying, and I thought to myself "This hammock is in simple harmonic motion." Later on, on a school "farewell" trip for our year, we were quoting Physics formulas. Every time I read a book or poem I can't help but notice literary features. I unnecessarily mention Psychology studies. I think about how my TOK essay could have been more interesting (I could have used Cybermen to represent reason and Daleks to represent how an emotion like hate can lead you to irrational behaviours!) The same goes for my EE. I puzzle over how I achieved a "7" in Chinese Language B SL despite the fact that I can't remember the Chinese word for "bus."
So. If you are still stuck within the IB, this is what you have to expect later in life. If you have already finished with the IB, you will know exactly what I am talking about.
The moment I realised the IB is never really over was after we handed in our final TOK essays and thus finished TOK lessons.
Me: YES. No more TOK forever!!!!!
My classmate: How do you know that?
Good luck.
