About Me

I'm an IB student living in Florida.
School is the major focus in my life right now, and it always will be until I graduate from university, college or whatever you want to call it. :blink:

In my spare time I study, read, and watch television.
My taste in books includes philosophy, non-fiction, dark fiction, and anything that can be regarded as 'original'.

Also, I didn't go through PYP or MYP to get to the DP.

Even though this may seem odd, as I live in Florida, my favorite season is winter. :yes:

Malicious site?

I'm using the Opera web browser right now. I know the browser is unpopular lol, but it's reporting you as a malicious fraud site. I thought I should let you guys know. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong topic section.

Does anyone have any tips for Dorm life?

The University I'm attending is quite a long distance from home, around 380 miles. This means I'm going to have to stay in a dorm.
So, do any of you have any tips or advice for staying in dorms? I know there are books on this kind of thing, but it's nice to hear advice from people, and to bring it to the attention of people who may not have thought of this topic before.

Is anyone extremely surprised by their exam results?

I was absolutely surprised by my score in Biology HL.
I did well on my IAs and Paper 1, but I felt like I failed Papers 2 and 3.
I misread a graph, and accidently read a question too fast and put down a wrong answer for paper 3 lol.

So much to my surprise, I got a 6, when I was expecting a 3 or my predicted grade of 4 lol. Absolute shock.

So, what exam score, good or bad, were you most surprised by? (Including EE and TOK score)
