It does depend where you want to ultimately study :gluck: For instance, I actually personally think that the most internationally acceptable qualification is the A Level. They'll take it in the USA, across Europe and also in Asia.

The problem with the american system is that it's only given value in the US -- should you decide you want to study in Europe a lot of places, including pretty much all Unis in the UK, won't accept it and you'd have to convert with A Levels or do some kind of Foundation course. To my understanding, this is. I'm at Uni in the UK and my american friends all had to take a year out to do A Levels because 'AP' subjects don't get any recognition as a valid qualification.

So yeah, I'd do A Levels myself! To be honest, though, it would be easier to give you advice if you could say exactly what you're looking to get out of the experience. Are you after what will give you the best chance of getting into Uni anywhere in the world? The best for getting into an American Uni? Just generally the experience -- and if so, what aspects of the experience?
