In P1 I did Section A, which felt really bad at first, but I honestly don't think it was that terrible. I had -just- read through some notes on Stalin's foreign policy, which definitely helped.
In P2 I screwed up big time. I'm fairly okay with the question I wrote on the Truman Doctrine and the Marshall Programme, reasons and results or something like that. It wasn't the best essay I've written, but definitely survivable. But then I also wrote about Lenin 1918-1924 which... wow. It went straight to Hell, so yeah... not too pleased there. In general, I thought all the questions were WAY too specific; I've always thought the P2 questions were supposed to be fairly open-ended. There was a question on the League of Nations which I couldn't write about because it was restricted to 1920-1930.
P3 on the other hand was BRILLIANT. I got to write about the origins of WWI, the February Revolution, and something about the origins of the Cold War (in relation to ideology, I think?). It was great: I'm satisfied these are three of the best essays I've ever written. The whole paper was lush, though; I felt that there were eight or so questions I could have written decent essays on.
Considering the differences in how I did in the papers, I fear that my History grade may be in Limbo now.
