About Me
If you are reading this you are most likely either bored and/or procrastinating and have resorted to going around random profiles on IBS as I have done many times, so I'll try to entertain you.
I'm Kelly. My username refers to the fact I grew up in New Zealand, not that one of my organs is a furry fruit which is a mistake people make too often. I moved to Queensland, Australia a few years ago and is where I slaved through IB and enjoyed it. I was freed in November 2011 and my subjects were
HL: Mathematics, Chemistry, Business & Management
SL: A1 English, Biology, Spanish ab initio
If you want any advice on any subject, just ask, apart from Spanish, which was my bane of my existence.
This year I'm doing a duel degree in Engineering and Science at UQ (University of Queensland because no one ever recognises Australian uni abbreviations) and I'm majoring in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics, simply because I love chemistry, and though I don't really intend to use my mathematics degree, I simply don't want to give up maths yet :) Yes, I have been informed I'm a bit weird, I just love my maths.
Enough of boring stuff, anyone that knows me know I'm a huge sports fan. I love to play netball and though I don't play rugby, my happiness may or may not depend on whether the All Blacks win their games.
Since I probably don't actually know you I'll probably stop here, but one last point. If IB taught me anything, it is that life needs to be worth living, so while it may seem like the end of the world if you can't study X hours before an exam, remember to have fun with your friends on your way and never take something too seriously.
P.S. If you read through all that I congratulate you. You are either really dedicated or really bored.
